Matthew
Hi, my name is Matthew and I’m a photographer + web geek + student + teacher + husband and father.
I currently work as a Freelancer in two different roles. One as a photographer under a newly started business venture called Contrejour Photography and two as a Front-end Coder and UX Expert, working on websites, via my web solutions company XyberSolutions. In addition, XyberSolutions will soon be delivering custom proprietary web properties of my own enterprise. So that should explain the first two descriptions above, what about the rest?
I love learning—if I’m not learning something new I get bored. Sometimes I’ll enroll into a college or take a continuing-ed class or seminar just to keep myself moving forward. I’ve also taught; I taught for a year at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design teaching continuing-ed students how to build websites. As for the rest you can read about that here.
Things I love…
- Pizza, sub-sandwiches, and coffee
- Movies
- Sci-fi
- Traveling—though I don’t get much of it, it’s mostly fantasy at this point
- Photography
- Art
- The outdoors (e.g., camping and fishing)
- Vacation time—again I don’t get much and happens rarely
- Gardening and Landscape Design
Things I hope to complete…
- Visit all 50 U.S. States
- Get a tattoo
- Brew my own beer
- Climb all Colorado fourteeners
- Learn guitar
- …plus a few other things…
You can learn more about me at my personal blog, xybermatthew.com.
